About Us

The Corazonistas Barcelona School is an educational center run by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart (Corazonistas). It currently offers education from preschool through high school.

Our educational style is based on trust among all members of the educational community and excellence in all learning processes.

Trust is the natural environment of our education and has to do with that space where children and young people feel safe to be the builders of their own future. Excellence offers young people the possibility of developing all their abilities based on respect for each person’s talents and preferences.

Trust Project

The trust project is based on five fundamental aspects

Personalized education.

We opt for active methodologies in which students take charge of their own learning. We are convinced that every child has their own unique way of learning, and we help them discover and strengthen their natural curiosity for knowledge.

Values-based learning

Without neglecting our work on other values, we explicitly commit to institutional values: trust, compassion, effort, humility, and spirituality.

The tutor’s support

At each stage of education, the tutor and teachers closely monitor the students’ development. In secondary education, individual interviews are used to set both personal and academic goals.

Reading, writing and teaching mathematics.

From early childhood education through secondary school, we establish plans and reinforcement measures so that these subjects, which serve as a springboard for many others, receive preferential treatment.

Sports and leisure

Belonging to a team, sharing experiences outside of school hours, walking the Camino de Santiago with classmates from different schools, participating in volunteer work, etc., are very valuable experiences that we try to make available to everyone.

Corazonista character

School for everyone.

Our educational center is a Christian educational institution open to all religious denominations that carries out the mission of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, charismatically and prophetically initiated by Father Andrés Coindre. It leads us to educate based on a pedagogy of trust and a spirituality of compassion.

Working with families.

We share this identity, the goals and values we develop, and the daily task of educating with families, who are primarily responsible for this. Continuous contact and involvement in different activities are some of the ways in which collaboration can be achieved.

Strong educational community.

We share this identity and our original charism with teachers and collaborators. Joint responsibility and generous participation make our mission truly shared, prophetic, and enduring, enabling us to live our identity as a strong educational community.

Innovation.

We adopt innovative teaching methods and methodologies that enable us to respond to the needs of different times and places. We adapt our educational activities to the social and working environment and are bold in our new proposals.

Also outside the classroom and school hours.

We extend our educational activities beyond the classroom and school hours through complementary, sporting, pastoral, and social activities.
